The logo JM for Jamila Magazine is an example of my process when creating a logo from sketch to vector. 

TERMS

1. Payment

DBK Media Company offers these payment methods: Major Credit/Debit cards such as VISA & Mastercard, Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App. A deposit is required before any services will be rendered, for services over $199, there is a midway payment for all payment methods excluding Sezzle. The remaining payment is received at project completion. The project starts the minute the initial payment is received. The project is completed after the final payment is received. Additional services such as edits, maintenance, or additions after project completion will not be provided unless it is discussed prior, and this may result in additional charges. Additional revisions or additions to the workload during the project such as extra pages for a website will result in an additional charge.

 

2. Grant of Rights

DBK Media Company agrees to transfer the copyright of all created works once the project is completed. The client will have all rights included in owning the work’s copyright. Kaliyah agrees that any work produced is with the intent to be unique and will not seek to resell or publish any works except as noted below. The designer agrees to never use any materials illegally to aid in the creation of your project.

 

3. Designer’s Right to Authorship Credit

You agree that DBK Media Company may use any work created in their portfolio (including, but not limited to, any website that displays DBK Media Company’s creative works such as Facebook and Instagram). The client does not have to display Kaliyah’s name together with any work, unless being described with any editorial usage, but the Client may not seek to mislead others that any work was created by anyone other than Kaliyah.

 

4. Cancellation

The fee for work is refundable pending only upon Kaliyah’s breach of contract or inability to complete the project. In the event of cancellation of this assignment, ownership of all copyrights and the original artwork shall be retained by Kaliyah Mosley. If the project has started & work has been done and the client decides that he or she no longer wants Kaliyah’s services or any other reason for cancellation the deposit will NOT be refundable. 

 

5. Acceptance of terms

The action of sending and the receipt of this agreement via electronic method will hold both parties in acceptance of these terms. Kaliyah Mosley as the sender and the client as the recipient will acknowledge acceptance of these terms by signing this agreement. Electronic signatures shall be considered legal and binding. 

 

Because of the company's beliefs, DBK Media Company cannot work with companies that promote spiritual, political, sexual, or holiday-based items or businesses.

 

Kaliyah promises that at the closing of the project (after receiving the final payment) all files will be sent on the same business day. If the project is completed after 4 pm, ( DBK Media Company's hours are from 9 am - 5 pm M-F ) the final files will be sent by the end of the next business day.

The deposit and final payment prices are applicable if you are NOT using Sezzle as your payment method. 

Deposit: $179.90

Midway: $209.65

Final Payment: $209.65
